Tourism and Crime

ABSTRACT

This presentation is a working paper that considers the issue of aspects of crime related to tourism. The authors aim to provide a frame of reference for studies of tourism and crime rather than give a meta-study analysis of empirical research. It is argued that an understanding of the range, types, and implications of tourism and crime is more important, at this stage, than is reportage of individual substantive findings.
