Abstract
Malcolm Prentis is Associate Professor of History at Australian Catholic University in Sydney. In his book The Scots in Australia, he examines the contribution of the Scottish immigrant population to Australia, including the Presbyterian Church. Addressing The Sydney Institute on Wednesday 6 August 2008, Professor Prentis discussed the stereotypes, and reality, of these 'invisible immigrants' in Australian society.
